Omega-3s: Do Plants Provide Enough?

  1. Wow, I had been hoping the tablespoons of ground flaxseed in my smoothies were doing more! Bummer. I will still probably eat it, because I like the nutty taste, and it may be doing some good.

I like fish well enough, but there are other worries when you consume to much of it. I sometimes worry that fish twice a week is too much, lately we are down to once a week. When I wasn’t eating red meat, it was like 4 times a week….and that was probably way too much!

On another note, I have heard that flax is good for the mood, and have noticed a slight affect on mine. Unfortunately, I have no idea of knowing if this is only a placebo effect. But if so, who cares as long as I am in good mood?

Well, thanks for the interesting link.
